Useful Information
We are very proud to welcome students to the idyllic setting that Lodge Farm offers. Our young people have the space, privacy and security to learn lifelong skills. But what does their day look like? Students arrive at the Farm and are welcomed into the dining room where we all share breakfast together. We also meet back up for a home-cooked meal at lunchtime, where they are encouraged to try delicious new foods. Throughout the day students will attend structured lessons, but with the peace-of-mind that their timetables are flexible and they can visit the Farm should they wish/need to. Though following the National Curriculum, students will ultimately learn so much more – responsibilities and skills for life.

E-Safety
Lodge Farm aims to:
- Have robust processes in place to ensure the online safety of students, staff and volunteers
- Deliver an effective approach to online safety, which empowers us to protect and educate the whole Lodge Farm community in its use of technology
- Establish clear mechanisms to identify, intervene and escalate an incident, where appropriate
We actively encourage our students to be careful when using the internet. We understand that it is a vital tool in keeping in touch with their friends and helping them learn, but it can also cause harm – to them and to others. We would ask our parents and carers to continue this message at home.
There is always help available at Lodge Farm if students, parents/carers or staff are having any problems online. Please just ask. Students must not be afraid to talk to their teacher or another adult at the farm.
All students, parents/carers and staff/volunteers are asked to complete an Acceptable Use Agreement outlining the rules to follow when using ICT at Lodge Farm.
Please read our Online Safety Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. There are also links to useful information if you are concerned about someone’s online behaviour towards you.
